Doug Lynch
Managing Director, USC Rossier Education Technology Accelerator
Doug oversees the Center’s Accelerator program with Mark DeGenarro, who together ensure cohorts of entrepreneurs are successful at developing innovations in ed tech. Doug is also a member of the faculty at USC Rossier School of Education where he teaches economics, negotiations, and innovation.
Doug has spent his entire career focused on the intersection of innovation in learning in order to increase access and efficacy. Before joining the Rossier faculty, Doug was the vice dean at the graduate school of education at the University of Pennsylvania and while there also served for a time as an academic director of Wharton Executive Education and a senior advisor to the Fels Institute of Government.
Prior to Penn, Doug was an assistant dean at New York University and before joining NYU, Doug worked at the College Board and Arizona State University.
He has had a long career at the nexus of education, technology, and equity, having co-founded one of the first charter schools in the country and being one of the founding members of the Online Learning Consortium.
